The Delft’s complex location made it a challenging project to work on. Surrounding the site is Southwark Cathedral, the River Thames, residential space and a busy tourist area, meaning that it was crucial to minimise disruption and emissions.
Our scope included the design and installation of 61 no. 450 mm diameter case and auger mini-piles and 97 no. 600 mm diameter case and auger piles for temporary and permanent works. We worked alongside Morrisroe Demolition, who used a floating pontoon on the river to service the site and keep vehicle movements to a minimum.
